Resistance Bands and Strength Training

Tired of pumping iron but still want to do strength training? Dump the metal dumbbells for resistance bands. Resistance bands build muscle by forcing you to work against the tension of the bands. They come in different resistance levels and are usually categorized by pounds of resistance. They are safer than free weights, especially for beginners, since they are not heavy and only weigh the amount of the bands. They allow you to easily transition between exercises and they can be used to develop nearly every major muscle in your body.
